Business visa

The following documents are required:

1. Visa application form (click down to download) duly completed (electronic only/not handwritten), printed, dated, and signed.

2. A recent identity photo (35 millimeters wide by 45 millimeters high);

3. Passport valid for at least 6 months, accompanied by a photocopy of the first two pages;

4. Proof of residence in the Netherlands for less than three months: Rental contract, electricity, gas, water, or internet bill. Otherwise, the applicant must provide a BRP (Basisregistratie Personen) for less than 6 months;

5. Letter or travel order from the employing organization in the Netherlands (or possibly abroad), including: the visa applicant's first and last name, position (function), reason for travel, and the date and location;

6. A letter of invitation from an Algerian partner (company, firm, government, or private organization). The letter must include the detailed purpose of the assignment, its duration, and location, as well as the number of entries for which the visa is requested;

7. A travel insurance certificate in the name of the applicant or possibly in the name of their employer (indicating that it covers the employee on a mission abroad) mentioning Algeria as the destination country and including a minimum of 30,000 euros in guarantees for covering medical expenses and medical repatriation, in case of accident, illness, and repatriation of remains in case of death. This certificate must cover the entire duration of the visa's validity. Insurance certificates can be obtained from your insurance company, your bank, or a travel agency;

Visa fees are only payable by credit card and on site (they vary depending on nationality, passport type, duration of travel and number of entries). Visa fees are not refunded in the event of cancellation of the visa application by the applicant, whatever the reason, and also in the event of refusal to issue the visa by the Embassy;

Very important:

- For applicants who do not hold a Dutch passport, proof of legal residence in the Netherlands must be provided, including:

 

• For nationals of countries exempt from the residence permit requirement in the Netherlands: A BRP (Basisregistratie Personen) certificate issued by the municipality of the place of residence and dated within the last 6 months;

• For nationalities other than those listed above: A residence permit valid at the time of application and on the visa's expected expiry date must be provided.

- Incomplete applications and those that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted or processed.

- The Embassy reserves the right to request, in writing, by e-mail, or by telephone, any other document not mentioned in the list above and any additional information it deems necessary to process the visa application.
