Participation of H.E Ambassador Salima Abdelhak in the opening maritime parade of SAIL Amsterdam 2025

H.E Ambassador Salima Abdelhak, took part on August 20, 2025, in the opening maritime parade of SAIL Amsterdam 2025, on board the Omani sailing ship Shabab Oman II, at the invitation of the Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands, together with several of her counterparts. 

The Kingdom of the Netherlands also participated in the parade with its national sailing vessel, the clipper Stad Amsterdam, a symbol of Dutch maritime tradition.

SAIL Amsterdam is one of the world’s largest maritime festivals, organized every five years and gathering more than 800 ships and millions of visitors. The 2025 edition coincides with the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam, celebrating maritime heritage, cultural diversity, and international friendship.
