Celebration of the National Day of the Martyr

The Algerian Embassy in The Hague celebrated the National Day of the Martyr in the presence of the embassy staff and members of the Algerian community residing in the Netherlands, where the message of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, was read on this occasion, followed by a speech by Ambassador Salima Abdelhak, in which she recalled the symbolism and great significance of this anniversary and the great sacrifices made by the martyrs that enabled us to enjoy freedom and independence. She also pointed out the responsibility placed on our shoulders today to preserve the gains and complete the construction process. This speech was followed by raising the national flag to the sound of the national anthem and reciting Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs.

As usual for the members of the community, an Algerian citizen honored us by presenting a wreath of flowers that was placed under the flagpole to commemorate this occasion. All thanks and appreciation for this gesture that indicates love for the homeland, the strength of belonging and the keenness to preserve the history and components of Algeria.
