The Ambassador had the pleasure of taking part in the meeting organised by the Algerians Abroad Foundation

The official launch of the ‘Algerians Abroad’ organisation: Congratulations and special encouragement to Mrs Nawal Khalil, Mr Mohamed Gougam, Mr Ahmed Boudissa and Mr Jamila Belbachir for their efforts to make this initiative a success.

The Ambassador of Algeria in The Hague, Salima Abdelhak, was pleased to participate in the meeting organised by the Algerians Abroad Foundation in Rotterdam, in the presence of Algerian executives from the Netherlands, Belgium and France. During this meeting, the official establishment of AlgeriansAbroad, a non-profit organisation aiming to unite and bring together highly skilled Algerian professionals abroad and present its rich programme of action from this month until the end of 2025, was announced and localised in the Netherlands.

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the members of the Algerian community who organised this important initiative and recommended them to unite and show solidarity in order to form a propositional force and make an impact in the societies in which they live, and contribute to the dynamism of our country at all levels, wishing them more brilliance and success in their initiative of high utilitarian value. She also assured them of the Embassy's full readiness to accompany them and provide any assistance or accompaniment that would facilitate their mission.

The aim of this organisation is to be internationally oriented while preserving Algerian cultural values. Initially, the organisation focuses on facilitating the creation of important links between highly skilled professionals in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, which will be extended to other countries at a later stage. More than half of the current members of this organisation are computer and electronics engineers, as well as doctors and managers of companies.
